The Foundation was established by Dr. Nirund Jivasantikarn founder of Yonok University (Now Nation University) in 1998. And was honored by Dr. Supachai New loyal the former director of the World Trade Organization (WTO) who currently holds the position of Secretary of Trade and Development in the United Nations (UNCTAD). The Foundation's primary mission is to support the development of the Nation University. As well as support and assist education, schools and health (especially the elderly), health, and other public affairs in Lampang and throughout Thailand by working with schools, universities, hospitals, and both public and private agencies. To accomplish this auspicious Dr. Nirund has worked with leading academic institutions in the United States, including Baylor University, Babson College, Stanford University, Dallas Baptist University, Texas Wesleyan University, Mercer University, Charleston Southern University, University of the Cumberland, the Consortium for Global Education, and many more institutions.
Yonok University has succeeded in establishing strong educational foundation for the region with several approaches, including both supporting existing projects and implementing new ideas. The following are our notable achievements:

Moreover, Yonok University has also facilitated activities and projects requested by the community, including encouraging students and community members to read and raising awareness for environmental problems.
